Y.A.M.s supports young adults as they navigate life, work, faith, and purpose. It is a space for honest connection, spiritual growth, and strong community with others, building their lives in today’s world.The YAMs Ministry serves ages 20-40 years old.

Rockwell’s Children’s & Youth Ministry helps young people grow in faith, leadership, and joy. The Children's Ministry serves ages 0-14 years old. The Youth Ministry serves ages 15-19 years old.

The Senior Ministry at Rockwell AME Zion Church is dedicated to honoring and supporting our senior members through fellowship, spiritual growth, and meaningful engagement. This ministry provides opportunities for connection, encouragement, and continued purpose in a Christ-centered community.

The Couples Ministry at Rockwell AME Zion Church supports and strengthens relationships through Christ-centered guidance, fellowship, and practical tools. We help couples grow together in love, faith, and purpose while building strong, God-centered families.

The Usher Ministry helps set the tone for worship through order, care, and hospitality. Ushers welcome people, help with seating, support the flow of service, and offer a calm, respectful presence.

The Board of Stewards supports the spiritual and practical life of the church. In the A.M.E. Zion tradition, stewards help care for membership concerns, support the pastor, and assist with matters connected to worship and church life.

The Trustees Ministry at Rockwell AME Zion Church is responsible for caring for and maintaining church property and resources. They ensure that the facilities are safe, well-kept, and welcoming, supporting worship, ministry, and community activities. Through their faithful service, Trustees help provide a strong foundation for the life and mission of the church.

The Ministry of Kindness shares God’s love through action, compassion and care. This team supports the Charlotte community with crisis support for utilities, housing, food and more.

Men’s & Women’s Ministries The Men’s and Women’s Ministries at Rockwell AME Zion Church empower men and women to grow spiritually, build strong relationships, and serve with purpose in the church and community. Through fellowship, mentorship, study, and outreach, participants are encouraged to use their gifts, deepen their faith, and make a meaningful impact while supporting one another in their spiritual journeys.
